Taxis are easy to find in Seoul.

  • You can either hail a taxi on the street or use the Kakao Taxi app to request one.
  • There are regular taxis (grey, white, orange) and deluxe taxis (black), with deluxe taxis charging higher fares.
  • Many taxi drivers understand basic English, and you can also pay using your T-money card.

Seoul’s public transportation system offers transfer discounts. When transferring between buses and subways, or between different buses, there is either no additional charge or a small fee. You must use a T-money card to receive the discount.
